Nyngan hits the road for the next three weeks, Sunday’s round two clash against the Jets at Cale Oval followed by trips to Dubbo and Parkes to play Westside and the Spacemen respectively.
After a tough loss at Larkin Oval to open the year, Neill believes a couple of road wins to round out the first month of the season will have Nyngan back on track.
“For sure, we’ve got to go out there looking to win,” Neill said ahead of Sunday’s game.
“We don’t want to start with too may losses especially with three away on the bounce. Jag a couple of them put us in good stead.”
The young skipper has been impressed with prop Ned Dawson.
“He was outstanding on the weekend. He’s tough as nails and gets through lot of work. We’re lucky to have him,” Neill said.
