Bre is rebuilding and, with a number of boys playing their first games of rugby, it was always going to take a while with the rule differences between league and union, but to its credit it was a tough opponent.
The skill of the Bulls through their quality backs saw Joney Yacadrua score 2 tries, Lawrence Kuso, Trieg DuPlesiss and Mitch Butler 1 each, which had Bre unsure how to shutdown the avalanche of attack coming towards them.
The forwards enjoyed some great scrums, the Brumbies always a quality forward opponent.
For the Bulls pack, Gus Currans again had a strong game making good ground and Ladrea Eliki made the most of his first full game with a powerful performance at the back of the scrum. His ball running was quite outstanding and opened up many opportunities for his teammates, and was rewarded with a try of his own.
Although the final score of 38-0 was convincing, it was a torrid encounter.

Busy hooker Bretto also got himself a meat pie with a smart dummy pass which he held onto to scoot away under the posts. Coach Skimmer, then relaxed enough to use his bench players to close out the game.
The hard pre-season work has the starting 15 able to compete for the full 80 minutes, a credit to their commitment to training each week. Even Trieg DuPlesiss, who arrived only two weeks ago to work for the McLaughlin family, has very quickly settled in to the club and is certainly a great addition to the Bulls backs.
This weeks points: Joney Yacadrua (3), Gus Currans (2), Lawrence Kuso Jnr (1) and players player Trieg DuPlesiss. Next week the First Grade head to Cobar for a 7.45pm kick off.
