Members relaxed and enjoyed getting together for our monthly meeting with President Di Donald welcoming those present.

Several staff from Bogan Shire spoke about the work that has been carried out to beautify Nyngan streets, and plans for future improvements including the extension of the walking path along the river. Congratulations on what is being done by the Shire gardeners.

Coming up on June 26 is an interesting gathering in Forbes of their Horticultural Society and Garden Club with guest speaker George Hood who is President of Garden Clubs of Australia. 

Several members have indicated that they wish to attend and others may also like to go.

The trip to Lightning Ridge on Friday, July 13 to Sunday, July 15 has been confirmed. A bus will leave on the Friday morning for a weekend of interesting and historical activities. 

Cost will be $300 and let Leonie know if you would still like to be included.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Belle McDougall and family on the sad passing of Ron. 

It was decided that an appropriate plant, instead of flowers, will be given to her from the Garden Club.

Join us: Our next meeting is to be held in Davidson Park on Monday, May 28 at 10.30am. We will be supporting the "Biggest Morning Tea" fund raising cancer appeal and members are asked to bring a plate for morning tea.
