The team consists of: Britt Burt, Jess Gibson, Emma Beetson, Shelby Dunn, Maddy Horo, Cassie Bartley, Ebony Wardman, Chloe Vernon, Leah Bailey and Abbey Buchanan, and they are ably coached by the man Mark Beetson.
Last week saw the girls play well for their first hit out and the 46 all draw was a reflection of the game. This week the team played the Deadly Dragonflies and lost in a tight 51 to 48 battle.
Chloe Vernon was amazing as always with her strong holds and defense as goal keeper and Shelby Dunn potted some lovely long distance shots and was always looking for the rebound as goal attack.
Ebony Wardman was determined in defense and owned the player of the quarter in the third.
Come to courts next Saturday at Dubbo at 3pm and you will be treated to some fantastic shooting from Shelby, Britt and Emma, controlled mid court play from Jess, Maddy, Abbey, Cassie and Leah, amazing defense from Chloe and Ebony and entertainment from number one supporter Damian Lewis.

Golf
The Keno four Ball Qualifier was the big game on the weekend, the successful ones go to Trangie for a Regional playoff at a later date. Winners with a F.A.Q score of plus eight was Dang Holmes and Brendan Burt.
Brendan starred early on with a string of Pars and a Birdie on the under rated eighth.
They teed on the 19th with plus five to their credit, Dang came good with Birdies on the 13th and 15th then a washout on the 16th. After some poor chip shots, they survived on the last couple of holes to be a couple ahead of Codge McCarthy and Tim Tulenew on plus six, they edged out Deb Matheson and Robyn Harris.
For second possie on a count-back , both teams had good chances of catching the winners with a washout bringing Codge and Tim on done.
The girls were plus six after ten holes and remained at that mark for the rest of their round. Dang played the best shot seen in Nyngan for a while, 80 metres away from the green on the 13th, he completely duffed his shot then slam dunked his next shot into the cup for a birdie.
Very light on for numbers in Saturday’s four Ball, winners were the husband and wife team of Greg and Deb Matheson with 46 points, good scoring in the icy conditions. A mile behind on 37 points was Nate Matheson and Pat Walsh, Brendan Burt was the sole pin winner the rest jackpot.
Next Saturday is the May Monthly Medal 18 Hole Stroke and Sunday is 18 Hole Stableford. Badge draw is for $900 and the new Jackputt is worth $250, Sam Keating got it very close from the maximum distance last week.

GERRIES’ GOLF
DOUBLE FOR WILLIS
Once again there was an excellent roll up of 18 players for the weekly Gerries golf competition played on the front nine of Royal Narromine. The event was what was called as a "Mulligan Competition" and very few players were familiar with the event.
The one person who was very familiar with the event was our ‘El Supremo’ Terry Willis
and you have guessed it right, he returned a score of 34 stableford points to blitz the field.Well done Terry, we will have to check the handicap book next week to ensure the handicapper has done his job on the winners.Runner up was Ron Green on 29 points. The NTP went of Bill Burke with a fine shot but unfortunately only one golf ball was in the pot.The NAGA prize for the week went to Charlie Burrowes- oh how the mighty have fallen.
Attention then turned to the Pool competition where another good field was assembled. The decision was made for Ross King and Chris Harding to play the final which drew howls of opposition but the decision was final. The opening match went to Mal Richardson and Gus Smith who defeated Bill Burke and Bob Fletcher. The second game went to Charlie Burrowes and Terry Willis who defeated Mal McIntyre and Norm Lewis. Burrowes and Willis won the preliminary final against Mal Richardson and Gus Smith. They then challenged Chris Harding and Ross King in the grand final.
This event was a real thriller and even thought Harding and King were off the grass, they went down in a popular win to Burrowes and Willis.Burrowes was seen at his very best and carried Willis to his first major double of the season.
This afternoon the Gerries’ will attack the back nine with a stableford competition to the hit off at 3pm.
Players are reminded the Veterans Annual Open tournament will be played to-morrow with a hit off at 9am The event is an 18 hole stableford and there will be competitions for both men and women.Entries will be accepted from 8am.
