Once again we enjoyed a beautiful meal, thank you to Franco and Deb.

The highlight of the luncheon was our special guest speaker, Nyngan High School Principal Michael Gibson.

How fortunate the students of Nyngan High School to have such a enthusiastic principal.

Michael gave the ladies a very interesting story of his life before Nyngan, and what he is involved with during school hours and after.

Nyngan Day View would like to wish Michael and the students the very best on their trip to their sister school in China this coming November, happy travelling.

Norma Jeffery gave the vote of thanks to Michael, and also presented Day View's newest member Elaine McLaughlin her membership badge.

The next meeting and luncheon for Nyngan Day View will be on Wednesday, July 4 and the venue will be the Chinese restaurant at the Nyngan Bowling Club.

The gust speaker for July will be local lady Louise Linke, to tell members and friends about her time in Vietnam, volunteer nursing and other experiences.

Committee thank Day Dewhurst for donating the raffle and Norma Jeffery the lucky door for July.
