The event hosted by the Western Studio of Performing Arts (WSPA) is open for all residents with a number of categories including singing, dancing, speech and prose.
President of the WSPA parents committee Wendy Robb said it’s a fantastic community event, which raises money to go back into the community for clubs Nyngan’s youth are involved in.
“All money raised goes back in to the community and is split up into groups kids are involved in including, pony club, Girl Guides, tennis and the swimming club.
“It doesn’t have to be sporting groups either, there’s the church group.”
Mrs Robb said that the concert over the last few years has raised over $100,000, an incredible effort for a small town.
“Everyone’s invited to come along and enjoy the evening.”
“There will be a supper provided at intervals, and a raffle donated by Foodworks,” Mrs Robb said.
The concert will be held at the Palais Theatre on Thursday July 5. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 for kids and pensioners. Doors open at 7pm.
If you have a serious talent like singing or an interpretative movement WSPA are still looking for acts and are encouraged to contact Angie White on 0417 291 067.
