Kaylan Murray was the only Rabbitoh to score in the 13-tries-to-one thrashing, which catapulted the Tigers to fifth spot on the ladder, and into finals contention.

“If we switched our focus it could have gone very scrappy, but everyone did really well. We concentrated and held onto the ball for long periods of time and the result came,” Neill said.

“Credit to Westside, they showed up, they were down on troops but they were still out there having a go.

“It was a good reward again … it just shows what we can do when we're willing to hold onto that ball, complete our sets and defend our try line.”

Neill, Josh Merritt, Adrian Spicer, Tuiloma Atuau, Jackson Williams-Hedges, Apenisa Cokanasiga and Angus Currans all picked up four-pointers, with Sione Fakahua, Hammond Erepan and Jone Yacadrau picking up doubles. Merritt also slotted home nine goals, and Matthew Sheather kicked two goals.

Neill couldn’t single anyone out, and praised the side for maintaining possession and completing their sets.

Earlier in the day, the ladies league tag side fell 24-12 against Westside, while in reserve grade the Tigers secured a 40-22 victory, and the juniors won 24-8.

“It’s a good effort from the club especially after [the Duck Creek races] the day before,” Neill said of Sunday’s results.

“It’s easy to stay in bed but these guys, they showed up and we got the results in three out of four grades, so it was a big effort from the club.”

Despite the result, the Tigers won’t be getting ahead of themselves as they look towards their round 11 clash against the Parkes Spacemen at Larkin Oval.

The Spacemen (12 points) sit fourth on the ladder, but three points clear of the Tigers (9 points).

Parkes will have something to prove after last Sunday’s devastating 25-24 loss to Wellington, thanks to a 79^th minute field goal by Cowboys half-back AJ Davis.

“We won’t get too carried away yet,” Neill said.

“We’ve just got to keep on completing our sets and really keep the ball play very simple, because we’ve got a big enough side.”
