Central west singer and X-Factor alumni, Jason Owen, will be donating all profits from his shows at Dubbo and Temora to the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners.

Jason made the announcement on the weekend which will help get some trucks and feed back on the road.
The Burrumbuttock Hay Runners was founded in 2014 by Brendan ‘Bumpa’ Farrell who helps take donated hay to drought affected farmers in Australia.
In the four years since the hay run first began, hundreds of hay runners have delivered thousands of bales of hay in New South Wales and in Queensland.
The donation made by Jason will be welcome to the drought charity, as earlier this year Mr Farrell revealed there was limited funds in the kitty after the Australia Day hay run to outback Queensland.
“There’s people out there that need the money a lot more than I do,” Jason said to his audience at Dubbo on August, 11.
“Tonight’s show (Dubbo) and last night’s show 100 per cent of profits will be going towards the farmer’s aid The Burrumbuttock Hay Runners.”
Jason said it was an “absolute honour” to donate to the rural charity.
“I’ve always been a county boy and I always will be… I hope that we can continue to help raise money and help our farmers in need, not only here at home but throughout Australia.”
Jason, who is originally from the small rural town of Albert in central west, NSW, thanked everyone supporting farmers during this time.
“I’m excited to be a part to help everyone in need,” Jason said on social media.
