The photo was originally taken in Young in 1935, but was sent to the Library from a current, yet unknown residence in Wollongong.
Library manager, Janice Ottey, along with the rest of the staff at the Young Library would like to find the relatives of the four-year-old and three-year-old, at the time, in the photo.

“Someone in Young is sure to know who Sybil and Maurice are,” Ms Ottey said.
Janice hopes that by discovering who the children in the picture are, it may help the decedents find information regarding their ancestry or may be a valuable keepsake to their family members.
The photo will be available down at the Library for anyone who may know the original owner of the photo, or family of the individuals in the photo.
“The family members are more than welcome to the photo,” Ms Ottey said.

There was writing on the back of the photo in blue pen which includes:
- Maurice
- Sybil
- Grandma’s house,
- Grandma’s dog
- Naomes
- Taken at grandma’s Moseley House in Young and the ages of the children in the picture, three and four.
The Library staff was not given any other information in regards to the photo, the sender or why it was sent specifically to the Young Library.
Janice urges anyone with information in regards to the photo to go down to the Young Hilltop Council’s Public Library and see her or one of the other girls so that they can find a home for the well looked after photograph.
