POLICE are appealing for information about a person who may be able to assist with an investigation into an incident at the Louth Races.

An alert by police says the incident occurred at this year’s races, between Friday August 10 and Sunday August 12.
“Police are trying to identify a male who is described as being of a thin build, but with a large belly, caucasian, dark/blonde hair tied in a ponytail or top knot bun and has a glass eye. About 18-25 years of age,” the statement reads.
“The male was seen socialising around the southern most campsite.”
Central North Police District officers have called on anyone who might have been in the area on the Friday night or Saturday and taking photos of people or the campsites.
“This may assist with the identification of the male who police are seeking information,” the statement said.
“If anyone has information about the identity, spoke with this male or has photos the information be forwarded onto Bourke cetectives 6870 0845 or via Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.”
