President of the Nyngan RSL Sub Branch Derek Francis is encouraging members of the community to come along to this year’s Remembrance Day ceremony on November 11 outside the council’s cenotaph to pay respects to fallen, returning and serving soldiers.
“This year is a little bit special because it marks 100 years since the end of the first world war,” Mr Francis said.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
“We had a special ceremony at the beginning of the 100 years commemoration, and this marks the end of the 100 years commemoration.”
