Robert and Rani Gudgeon said they began their fitness journey at the age of 17 and 18 and was something they both “really loved”.

“We loved training together, challenging ourselves, and we really enjoyed celebrating our successes when we smashed a fitness goal,” Mrs Gudgeon said. 

In 2010 the pair moved to the Gold Coast where they studied their certificate three and four in fitness.

Since completing their qualifications opening a gym has been something they have both wanted to do. 

“We have wanted to open up our own gym since we first became qualified personal trainers, it’s something we’re just both so passionate about,” Mrs Gudgeon said. 

“We wanted people to have quality gym equipment, have support by qualified personal trainers and be kept motivated to achieve their fitness and health goals.” 

“We are just so excited that we have finally been able to achieve our goal by opening up our own gym,” she said.

Inside the R&R Fitness Shed is a variety of state-of-the-art exercise equipment for cardio and strength building.

“Our gym has such a motivating and fun vibe, that’s all we really wanted,” Mr Gudgeon said.

Despite only being open for a short four weeks, the support from the Nyngan community has been what Mr and Mrs Gudgeon described as “unreal”. 

“We love what we do and we help keep our members and clients on track by providing individual programs, classes and personal trainers,” Mrs Gudgeon said. 

“We can’t thank everyone enough.”

“We feel very blessed and we look forward to see what the future holds for the R&R Fitness Shed, our clients and members,” she said.
