Kurnell our spy in the sky had it’s Eagle eye focused on Rex Vane as he re-wrote the record book in Saturdays Par Event.
A 14 marker he finished the day with +11 included in his round, was six birdies and four chip-ins, 67 off the stick which equals his age.
A feat very few golfers achieve, had it been a Stableford game his score would have been 52 points, certainly the best score at royal Nyngan.
His score card has pride of place in the china cabinet, Tex had his moments and scored +4.
Ruth Buggy had a good score going but faded away on the back nine had +3, sexy Rexy was the Pin winner.
Sundays game was another win for the in-form pair of Tim and Janine had mostly very good holes. Tulla was there when needed.
Sarah Walsh and the optimist Simon Bartley had 34 points, they had a shocker on the seventh scoring one lousy point.
Two teams on 33 points, they were Ozzie Smith, Deb Matheson plus Camo Bourke and Matt Sheather.
Pin winners were Jamie Sparrow and Mr Blister.
Week seven highlights of Twilight was 51 points by Neill Earthmoving, Nate Matheson bagged and Eagle on the seventh, Kirsty Burley and Tara McDermott ripped in as well and Woodsie never got a look in.
At this stage we have three equal leaders on ten points, Vanes Buses and Macquarie Electrics and Innovations.
The Christmas part for the tin lids is on Thursday, December 13, names in by December 7 please.

Racing
Forbes based harness racing trainer-driver Jeffrey Brown was seen in a different role, as an owner of Dastaan, winner of the opening race at the Cowra Jockey Club meeting on Saturday.
Presently preparing his pacer the prolific winner Smart Major for another campaign, Jeffrey Brown shares ownership of Dastaan with his sister Donna Bliss from Forbes, David Sullivan from Lightning Ridge and Craig Holdsworth.
Purchased after nine unplaced runs in Victoria, Dastaan has started. three times under the care of Parkes trainer George Wright for a win and two placings.
Ridden by Tony Cavallo in the Breakout River Meats Maiden Plate ( 1375 metres ) at Cowra, Dastaan ( $3.20 ) led for home then fought off the challenge from On The Delta ( Andrew Banks, $6 ) to win by a half neck with the $2 favourite Sekerna ( Richard Bensley ) over two lengths away third.
The experienced Tony Cavallo was also responsible for a fine ride on the John Marzol, Wagga Wagga trained Haveago Charlie which humped the 63kg top weight in the 1700 metres Pepper Tree Equine Clinic Benchmark 50 Handicap.
Running fourth to the home turn, Haveago Charlie ( $3.20 ) prevailed by a long head over Husson’s Shout ( Shane McGovern, $4 ) with a long neck to the third placed Kind Reward ( Jamie Gibbons,$2.80 fav.).
First leg of a winning double for Sydney based Andrew Banks was Young Jackson in the Class 1 Handicap ( 950 metres ) for Cootamundra trainer Richard Coulton.
Leading throughout, Young Jackson ( $4.60 ) was a comfortable two lengths winner over Quideem ( Richard Bensley,$1.80 fav.) and Byzantium ( Tony Cavallo, $4.20 ).
With a typically strong ride, Andrew Banks then got Bounty Belle home first in a close finish to the the 1100 metres Jamieson’s Joinery And Building Centre Benchmark 50 Handicap.
The Les Bryant, Wellington trained Bounty Belle ( $5 ) shared the lead with Dunderry and kept fighting in the straight to score in a three way photo finish over Northern Conqueror ( Daniel Pitomac, $7 ) and the gallant ten year old Dunderry ( Ken Dunbar, $2.60 fav.).
Much easier was the task in the Beecher Wool Services Class 1 Handicap ( 950 metres )for the Donna Grisedale, Kembla Grange trained Snippy Skippy ( Robbie Brewer, $1.50 fav.), an all the way two and a quarter lengths winner over Flirtdeus ( Tony Cavallo, $7 ) and Time Of Her Life ( Akira Kajiya, $3.50 ).
Next meeting at Cowra on the January 20, 2019 features the $32,000 Cowra Cup over 1700 metres. Narromine on Thursday this week followed by the Mudgee Cup meeting on Friday December 7.
