His first EP, Walk Together, was directed by Mr Read's friend Henruqie Beraldi and includes Nyngan residents, who were also inspiration for the song.
Growing up in Nyngan Mr Read said filming the music video in town was “really special” to have friends and family part of the project.

Mr Read said he has always had a strong connection to music.
“My dad use to play guitar a bit and I remember trying to strum along to some Johnny Cash songs, really badly.” Mr Read joked.
“But when I got to high school I took it a bit more seriously and started a band with some friends.
“It was the coolest feeling to create music and jam it out with your mates, and I knew it was something that I would always do.”
Inspiration for the song Walk Together, Mr Read said came from his time in Nyngan.
“One day I stopped by the cemetery and saw a family visiting a loved one that had passed away,” he said.
“It got my thinking how we might all seem so different but we are all just walking down the same road of life.
“We all go through the hard times and things always get better, but we keep repeating this cycle until our time here is up, just like a ride on a roller coaster.
“So we should walk together and support each other through our journey of life because we are all in this together.”
It only took Mr Read 10 minutes to write the song, which he took overseas to the United States.
“Last year I decided I was done with hospitality work because it is so draining on your creative side, especially when your passion is writing and performing music,” he said.
“I had to make the decision, I just wish I had done it sooner.
“I spent a lot of time in Nashville over there, it was great to finally get to see ‘the music city’.
“The city is filled with singers and songwriters trying to get noticed, so it’s quite overwhelming but also inspiring to be around so many people with the same goal.”
It was in Nashville that Mr Read recorded his EP Walk Together.
Mr Read thanked Henrique and Joseph for filming and directing, Angie White for organising everyone, and everyone who took part in the clip.
“I love the finished product, I feel the clip and the song work really well together and everyone involved did an amazing job,” he said.
