The Tigers will get the 2019 season underway on Saturday when they take on old rivals the Cobar Roosters at the new looking Larkin Oval.

Before we get onto the footy I would like to give the council a huge wrap for the improvements to the facilities over the off season.
The new lights have been worth the wait, they will be a huge benefit to all sporting clubs for years to come, along with the electronic score board and additional grandstands.

Our town's oval will hold its own with any facility in the bush.
A big thank you to Alistair Quarmby and Abigail McLaughlin for their tireless work that went into securing grants for the work.
Back on the footy, the boys have been poking along well and will be keen to blow a few cobwebs out on Saturday.
The Roosters will provide solid opposition for the Tigers.
Their captain-coach, former Tiger Jimmy Neyland has been talking it up (totally out of character). He has eyes for Carney and Dawson so our boys better be on their game.
The ladies will get the show on the road when they take the field at 5pm.
Their game will be followed by the u/18s and then the main game will get underway around 70.
Will be great to see the footy back and should be a bumper crowd to christen the new lights and score board.
Everyone is invited back to our major sponsors the Nyngan RSL after the game. Will be a great way to start the season.
