This year marks a special occasion with an all-female executive committee with incoming president and life member Ange Kennedy, secretary Sophie Greig and treasurer Viv Warweg.
"We’ve got an all girls executive for our club this year, which is also something I’m really proud of and our club has always been very inclusive and encouraging of women to be involved," Ms Kenndey said.
"Carmel Walsh, Roz George and Robin Mclaughlin paved the way back in the early 2000s, so this isn’t the first time we’ve had an all female executive but I think it says a lot about the type of club that we are."
Ms Kennedy said the club are excited about the upcoming season and are thrilled to have Skimmer George and Shaun Hooper back on board as co-coaches.
"They are a great team. Skimmer with his years of experience and knowledge of the game, and Hoops with his passion for fitness and energy and enthusiasm in motivating the boys."
This year will see the return of a number of key players, determined to have a big dig at winning again this year.
"It all looks really promising," she said.
"We've had another amazing response to sponsorship for 2019 and are very grateful for the continued support of so many generous businesses to get our team kitted out on the field.
She said the club are already planning some great social events during the season and are looking forward to their new partnership with the Nyngan Bowling Club.
Ms Kennedy thanked outgoing president Greg Moody for the work he has done for the club over the last few years.
"Thankfully Greg is staying on the committee, but he’s really gone above and beyond as president and we’re all so appreciative."
She also thanked the Bogan Shire Council for their work upgrading Larkin Oval.
"With the new lights now installed, new electronic scoreboard and surfacing around the oval it really is a first class facility."
