Get hoppin' down to the annual community Easter party, which is back for another year.

Event organiser Katie White from the Community Hub said it's going to be an 'egg-cellent' day and a great way to start off the Easter week.

"It's going to be eggstra fun," Ms White said.

"There will be plenty of things to do from face painting, arts and crafts and games.

"There will be a free barbecue available and StormCo will be in town to assist with the variety of games."

Ms White said there will also be a number of services available to offer and information and support.

"It's school holidays so there's no excuse to miss out on all the free fun," she said.

"Everyone is welcome."

The community are invited to O'Reilly park for the free event on Thursday, April 18 from 10am until 12pm.
