After a big morning of official proceedings including the Dawn Service, March, Cemetery Ceremony, Wreath Laying Ceremony and more, people are invited to frock up and knock back a few cold ones at the Anzac Day Races in Nyngan.
This year there's plenty for everyone!
For the punter the six-race program started at 1.20pm, with the feature 1400 metre Nyngan RSL Anzac Cup, jumping at 4.40pm with $12,000 in prize money up for grabs.
While the famous Nyngan-owned Lucienne didn't make an appearance at the Anzac meeting there have been plenty of local nominations from the likes of Rodney Robb, Gary Bignell, and Greg O'Neil.
For the fashionista there's nearly $1000 worth of prizes with six categories in the fashions on the field.
Guests were also treated to a free barbecue luncheon under the Toyota tent sponsored by Khan's IGA.
The punters club kicked off on the first race, only $10 a share for a highly entertaining day of punting.
There was also plenty for the kids with a jumping castle, merry-go-round and face painting.
After the races the punters flocked to the RSL where wartime game 'Two-Up' is played.
