The 2019 Nyngan Show promises non stop action and entertainment, and probably some comedy along the way, for visitors to this years annual event. Crowd favourites that continue the agricultural traditions of the show including the scarecrow competition, speed shear and sheep count are calling for entries with fierce competition and plenty of prizes on offer.

There will be plenty more animal action with the dog high jump and flat chat race will put the best four legged friends in the region on show, while those looking to get a closer look are welcome any time at the animal nursery.
Your afternoons will be full with the HLS Trick Riders will be performing on both days of the how in the main arena showcasing their amazing skills and acts of bravery, while Katie Suber and Time Ryan will also keep the crowd entertained with some stunning musical performances. The young farmer's challenge is back again on Sunday to showcase the breadth of technical skills and knowledge that is required when living in a farming community today, and a junior section has also been added this year to encourage everyone to join in.
The highly anticipated Nyngan Toyota Rodeo will be held at 5.30pm on Sunday with plenty of prizes up for grabs. Categories include the $1000 Bull Ride with $1000 up for grabs, the Saddle Bronc, Novice Bull Ride, Novice Saddle Bronc, Under 18 Juvenile Steer Ride, Under 14 Junior Steer Ride, Under 11 Junior Steer Ride and the Poddy Calf Ride. And when all is done and dusted you can cap the day off with some quiet drinks and watch the stunning fireworks display.
