Ability Linker and organiser Wendy Beetson said the workshop was not only an opportunity for children to join in together and have fun, but help create their painted or pet rock to enter into the children's section of the Nyngan Show.
"I was very fortunate to have the assistance of Lyn Quinton and Lynn Hodge at the workshop, sharing their expertise to inspire the children," she said.
"They were certainly kept busy keeping up the supply of paints with so many children attending".
Ms Beetson thanked both ladies for their time and paints, and Maria and Brooke for providing the library for the event.
"The workshop was a huge success, I am looking forward to seeing all the children's entries displayed in the pavilion at the show," Ms Beetson said.
There is still a few days to go before show entries are due with Ms Beetson telling people it's time to get creative at home or look through things that you have made over the last year to see what you can enter.
