POLICE are calling for information from the public following the theft of power tools from a property in the Orana region.

Officers attached the the NSW Police rural crime division say the theft occurred between 7pm on Saturday, August 10 and 9am on Saturday August 11.
"A number of Milwaukee tools were stolen from a shed at Honeybugle, 50 kilometres south-west of Nyngan," State Rural Crime Co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
Officers attached to Central North Police District, with the assistance of the Rural Crime Prevention Team, have now commenced an investigation and wish to speak with anyone who noticed suspicious behaviour in the area between 7pm and 9am Saturday night.
"We ask for all landholders to be aware of security in and around their properties and to ensure any valuable items and equipment is secured," Central Zone Rural Crime Prevention Team Detective Sergeant Andrew McLean said.
"Any suspicious activity, whether it involves persons or vehicles, should be reported to local police or triple-0."
