This month is Steptember, a month where people are encouraged to take 10,000 steps a day to support those living with cerebral palsy.
'Chafing the dream (CTD)' consisting of Ben Loiacono, Joe Ludick, Ebony Wardman and Lyn Webster are just one team from Nyngan participating in the fundraiser.
"Steptember is to raise awareness about cerebral palsy and funds for vital equipment, therapy and services to children and adults living with the disorder," Mr Ludick said.
"We as a team are challenged to take 10,000 steps each per day."

The team said they stay motivated by one another to reach their daily goal through an app which records their steps.
"It's all recorded, we have an app on our phones and we punch in what steps we do per day so we can see what we're all doing," Ms Webster explained.
"Every time someone puts in their steps it notifies us how many our team members have entered, so we can keep each other accountable," Mr Loiacono added.
On Friday the team had already reached 306,638 steps since they started and have raised over $200 with a goal of $1000 to reach.
"It's much needed funds for families like Ally's," Ms Webster said.
Ally Robb from Nyngan is a nine and a half year old girl who was born with cerebral palsy.
As Ally grows she has many needs to help with her everyday living, these needs include equipment like a wheelchair, hoists and a bath chair.
Ally has a team of CPA specialists on board such as occupational therapy, speech and physio, and is required to travel to Sydney every six months for treatment.
Ally's mum Karina Dunn said without the kindness of people's donations toward charities like this, kids like Ally would miss out on a lot of things.
Steptember is the leading fundraising health and wellness campaign in Australia and runs in seven countries around the world.
People can donate to any of the teams at event.steptember.org.au or alternatively see a participating team member.
