Riders on this year's Toyota Tour de OROC were welcomed into town by Bogan Shire mayor Ray Donald and general manager Derek Francis when the tour rolled into Nyngan on Friday.

The Toyota Tour de OROC is run by the Rotary Club of South Dubbo and is a challenging 6-day biennial bicycle ride created in 2013 to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay.
The riders and support crew set off from Macquarie Home Stay at 7am on Monday, October 7 and headed to a lunch date at Armatree Hotel as their first major stop.

They then journeyed up to Lightening Ridge, a new stop added to this year's itinerary, before cycling into Bourke, Cobar and Nyngan. The group will head off to Warren then make their way back to Dubbo on Sunday.
Chairman of the organising committee, Mathew Dickerson said the 1100 kilometre ride around the region has been important to visit many of the communities who use the facility based in Dubbo.
"It's been built now, it's being used for people in the region, there are people in Nyngan who are staying there or have stayed there, people in Cobar, Bourke," he said.
"We've come across people who have actually stayed there, and the idea is that this ride will go across that whole region that will use Macquarie Home Stay."
Mr Dickerson said despite the tough temperature of 33 degrees during the first day, wind has been the biggest challenge.
"The first day was really hot, and a couple of spots tough wind, then the rest wasn't too bad," he said.
"The second day was really tough wind apart from the last five kilometres, the same with yesterday the third day some more really tough winds and some fairly constant headwind.
"Finally today [Friday] it's been pretty sill.
"We haven't had any tail wind, we're still waiting for some tail wind yet."
The chairman said fundraising had reached $85,000 with more donations still being made throughout the journey.
"If anyone want's to donate, we just had a guy who handed me $50 as we were riding into town, but we also have a fundraising page," Mr Dickerson said.
To date, the Tour has raised over $400,000 to support the Macquarie Homestay.
"It's been a bit of a thrill for all the riders ... many of the riders haven't seen this part of the world," he said.
"As many people do, they'll have breakfast in Cobar, Lunch in Nyngan and dinner in Warren but they just don't do it on a bike normally."
