With the support of Drought Angels and Uniting Care, Stacey Wells-Budd from the Hermidale Hotel hosted a free event for women in the area.
The aim of the day was to get women out of the house and encourage them to look after themselves and each other.
Mrs Wells-Budd said it was fantastic to see everyone so happy.
"What a wonderful day Hermidale Ladies Day turned out to be. It was so great to see everyone smiling and having a great time," she said.
But the experienced publican is hoping that this will be the start of something for the people who attended.
"I'm hoping everyone will check-in with each other during this drought and have a cup of tea or a beer. We need to support each other and be there for each other," she said.
