President of Can-Assist Nyngan Lyn Webster was pleased with the annual golf day, and thanked their major sponsor Aeris Tritton mine.
"It was a really enjoyable day," Ms Webster said.
"A big thanks to our sponsors Aeris Tritton mine, and a big thanks to the golf club."
Proceeds from the day go to Can-Assist, a program which raises money for people in the local community that are affected by cancer.
Can Assist - formerly known as the Cancer Patients Assistance Fund - began in 1955 by a group of determined women who were nurses, social workers and doctors wives.
Together they had a vision to provide accommodation for country patients receiving cancer treatments in Sydney, and to provide support for patients as they accessed treatments to help families in financial distress as a result of cancer.
Today Can Assist has 52 branches across NSW and approximately 3000 members and volunteers who devote their time and energy to fundraise.
