For almost 50 years Mr and Mrs Davison have been the faces of the local post office, and on December 28 were invited to lunch with the Bogan Shire councillors and senior staff where they were presented with a certificate of appreciation.
The couple have described their experience over the years as "wonderful", but now hand over the post bag to new licencees Penny and John Hoy.
