Twenty small towns will play host to local disco and barbecue events hosted by PCYC NSW.
The After Dark Beats and barbecue events will give youth in drought affected towns, the opportunity to enjoy themselves during the summer school holidays and create life long memories in a fun and safe environment.
PCYC NSW State Manager Activities, Greg Howe said the state government initiative will help families and young people in the most drought impacted parts of rural NSW take a break from the pressures of drought and have some fun.

"We want to provide an opportunity for regional families and young people to have a great summer holiday and a break from the stresses of drought," he said.
"Summer barbecues, good music and dancing are a great way for kids to have fun and get social.
"PCYC NSW is very grateful to the NSW Government for inviting us to participate in this great initiative. Thanks to funding from the Drought Stimulus Package we are able to provide these activities for free in the 20 locations we are visiting."
PCYC NSW's Drought Break tour will visit Narrabri, Bingara, Barraba, Gunnedah, Quirindi, Moree, Warialda, Inverell, Glen Innes, and Tenterfield from January 6-10.
From January 20-24 the PCYC NSW Drought Break tour will visit Nyngan, Narromine, Condobolin, Molong, Blayney, Brewarrina, Walgett, Coonamble, Gilgandra and Warren.
Barbecues will run from 5pm, with music and dancing to follow from 7pm-9.30pm.
No tickets required, just rock up. Everything is free.
