Friendly rivalries between neighbours continued as residents and businesses got into the festive spirit decorating their houses, yards, and shop windows and mailboxes in the annual Christmas light competition.
On December 20 the winners of the competition were presented their awards at Davidson Park by Mieka White from AGL Energy and Bogan Shire deputy mayor Glen Neil.
The Bogan Shire Council thanked all their sponsors including, major sponsor AGL Energy, Nyngan Toyota, Landmark Nyngan, Elders Nyngan and AERIS Resources Tritton Mine.
