The boys started the game on fire, playing all over Macquarie in all areas of the game.
Pothole was outstanding in attack and defence. Since losing our playmaker Justin Cox to injury, Pothole has taken over Justin’s leadership role.
Young Hamish was very strong also proving hard to handle.
Matty Sheather also continued his brilliant form.
All in all the boys are playing as a team and playing for each other.
I think they are ready to make amends for last year’s loss, but they must be firing on all cylinders to beat a very good CYMS’ side.
A very big thank you from the reserve grade boys for the support from our local supporters for travelling to Wellington to cheer us on.
Hope to see everyone at Dubbo for the grand final this weekend.
