President Chris Elder will hold the AGM on Thursday October 9 at the RSL Club. He will announce and introduce the new 2015 show secretary at the meeting.
The cattle stewards have decided to include the junior cattle parade section in the cattle arena for next year. This has come from strong interest and inquiry from several schools in the area.
The prime lamb stewards have also been busy planning to include a hoof and hook competition at the show. Due to the number of successful lamb producers in the Nyngan district this might prove to be a popular inclusion.
In the wool pavilion representatives of winners of the champion fleece, the Butler family, and winners of the fleece with the highest commercial value, the McKillop family, both commented on the
strong competition and the great prizes on offer.
Pavilion chief steward Will was very pleased with the 2014 exhibits, estimating more than 1000 items on display. He is most impressed with the schools’ displays and received many favourable comments.
Mr Elder has asked that all stewards or their representative make an effort to attend the AGM to meet the new secretary and to update, alter or comment on the schedule for their sections at the meeting.
Any further inquiries please contact the president Chris Elder on 0428675094.
See you on Thursday October 9.
