Thank you to Vivienne, David and staff for the wonderful table decorations and meal, also to Rosemary Simpson for the delicious cake.
A special mention to Julianne Lamph for her Mother’s poem, which she recited and gave a copy, beautifully framed as a Mother’s Day gift, this went to Vernette Gibson.
Birthday wishes were given to Valerie Pahlow for May 6 and Geraldine Butler for May 24, congratulations and good health.
Nyngan Day View’s next luncheon will be held at the Nyngan Bowling Club’s Chinese Restaurant on Wednesday June 3 at midday, RSVP to Jann McConochie on 6832 2510 by Monday June 1 for catering purposes.
Guest speaker will be Akane the yoga instructor. Once again thanks to Dawn Elder for donating the raffle and to Rosemary Simpson for the lucky door gifts.
These gifts enable Day View to make their generous donations to the Smith Family. Also Day View will be holding a raffle evening at the RSL Club on Friday May 29, thank you to Dawn Elder and friend for your time.
What a successful idea the co-founder of Blue Illusion Clothing outlet has for the Smith Family, with the second event held in March, raising more than $30,000.
Hope Day View members received their copy of “Viewmatters” April edition as there is some interesting reading.
