Education was the flavour of the day when Nyngan Ag Expo donated $5000 to the Country Education Foundation.
This is the third of a four part donation to the foundation with profits from the Nyngan Ag Expo.
Nyngan Ag Expo Chairman Rod Dewhurst was delighted to hand over the donation to Jodi Douglas, secretary of the Nyngan CEF branch.
The Ag Expo Committee is aiming to bridge the gap for rural children to continue their education.
The donation goes to the Max Tremain scholarship, a scholarship named after a founding member of the Nyngan Ag Expo.
Mr Tremain is still a vital member of the committee 24 years later.
The scholarship recipients have been interviewed and are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
In the past the Nyngan Ag Expo has made incredible donations to the community including a donation of $20,000 to Can Assist in 2013.
This year the Ag Expo is on Saturday August 6 and the committee is anticipating the expo will be bigger and better than ever.
