Getting the sequence going was Dean Spicer who aced the fourth on Boxing Day.
The second was Ron McRae, who holed out on the 17th on New Years’ Eve and not to be outdone Greg Matheson eagled on the same day.
There were three stars of the January 7 stroke event with Dean Woods scoring 63 nett plus both pins, Brad Toole scoring 64 nett and Matt Sheather scoring 65 nett.
Last Saturday’s winner was Andy Lane with plus four, James Stanton with plus three and Rex Vane and Steve Peterson both on plus two.
Rex Vane and Steve Peterson were the pick of the crop.
Pin winners were Barry Howell and Adi Spicer.
The Sunday Ambrose recommenced on January 8, a good score of 29.12 nett by Dave Bartley and Sam Keating was the day’s best with Warren and Melanie Muray runners-up with 36.62 nett.
Pins went to Deb Matheson and Ozzie Smith.

Last Sunday’s winners were Deb Matheson and Dang Holmes with 28.75. That score was achieved by Deb who chipped in on three occasions.
Dang Holmes, as expected, hit some terrific tee-shots Tony Lewis and Adi Spicer with 30.37 nett were the next best.
Tony Lewis and Rod Herbert were the pin winners.
In Twilight Golf “Country Nutz” were the best of round eight with 74 points on a count back.
In round nine “Rough Nuts” scored 49 points on Friday, in the extreme heat it was an unbelievable score.
We are around the half way mark for Twilight golf and we have three equal leaders on 14 points.
“Neill Earthmoving”, “Dunlop Devils and Divas” and the “Aussie Hotel” are currently tied in first position making an interesting second half to the competition.
The Badge Draw went off at $1600 just before Christmas.
This week there is $400 in the kitty. The jackpot putt went off at $1807 last week, Lyn the bus driver played the shot. Back to a fresh start this week.
