A man will face court after police allegedly located and seized drugs and firearms at a home in Cobar yesterday.

About 1.15pm (Thursday 23 February 2017), officers from Darling River Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Cornish Street, Cobar.
During the search, officers located and seized 11 cannabis plants, 1.6kg of cannabis seeds, a firearm and ammunition.
Police arrested the 47-year-old man at his home before taking him to Cobar Police Station.

He was charged with supply cannabis, possess prohibited drug, cultivate prohibited plant, possess unauthorised firearm, possess ammunition without holding a licence, and firearm found at premises subject to prohibition order.
The man was refused bail to appear at Bourke Local Court today (Friday 24 February 2017).
