Staff were ready for the first patients who walked through the doors, to answer phones and any questions residents may have.
Staff include (as pictured) admin support Alli Jenkins and Katie Elrick, Bec Smith and Rachel Burns as care coordinators, Bogan Shire general manager Derek Francis and manager of people and culture Debb Wood, Glen Neill, with registered nurses Nicole Dowling, Megan Holmes and Saovanee Cook.
Dr Merran Auland, an experienced practitioner, will be the doctor in residence and is not pictured. Dr Auland and the nurses’ services are bulk billed.
Podiatrist Margot Downing will start on Wednesday and visit the centre once a week.
Management are hoping to increase the allied services who visit the centre.
Dr Auland has suggested all patients visiting the centre for the first time bring or list any existing or previous health issues, medications (including non-prescriptive), x-rays or scans, pathology and blood test results and information regarding vaccination status.
The Centre will be open from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Appointments can be made by calling 6832 1305.
