Aboriginal Education Officer at Nyngan Public Marea Johnson said they had 23 excited students deliver the performance with pride.

“The dance recognises the Coolamon, washing movements, applying ochre to the body and stomping to reconnect with mother earth,” Ms Johnson said.
“It was their first performance and was delivered with pride and smiles all around. The dance group and everyone involved should be very proud,” she said.
The dance group will perform at the official opening of NAIDOC Week 2018 at the Bogan Shire Chambers on Monday, September 24 at 9.30am.
