The Annual Local Government NSW Conference was held in Albury earlier this week. Deputy Mayor Glen Neill, General Manager Derek Francis and Councillors Graham Jackson and Tony Elias joined Councillors from all over the State to debate about 100 motions, and hear the Premier and State and Federal Local Government Ministers address the Conference. Most of the motions dealt with Councils seeking a better deal from State Government on Drought Policy, Transport, Health, Planning, Financial Assistance and winding back regulation.
