Local youth from the Nyngan region are being urged to apply for a Country Education Foundation (CEF) grant to continue their training or education.

The CEF Max Tremain Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to support local youth aged 16 to 25. It has provided students $25,000 to-date.
The scholarship supports further education, career and personal development opportunity for rural youth through community based encouragement and financial assistance.
The CEF Nyngan are holding their AGM on Thursday, November 1 at 5:30pm at the RSL Bowlers Bar.
They have encouraged people to come as they are also seeking new committee members.
