About 9.10pm on Monday it is believed the man driving on the Tottenham road has driven on the unsealed shoulder of road loosing control of the vehicle.
The driver was trapped for almost 60 minutes when he was released by NSW Fire and Rescue.
He was flown to Sydney via helicopter and is believed to be in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigation whether alcohol was a contributing factor.
