Both sides had a player sent off late in the game after Panorama centre Tylah Godden and Goannas fullback Majayda Darcy clashed but the scuffle didn't take the gloss off what was a simply superb outing from the minor premiers.

Player of the match Tori Canham pulled all the strings while hooker Taneka Todhunter was brilliant around the ruck to help the Goannas capatilise on a 14-4 half-time lead and eventually run out 30-point winners.

Panorama battled with the bare 13 all game while the Goannas had to draw heavily on their bench with Michelle Blake coming off early and both Emma Reid and gun Western half Britt Naden forced off during the clash, both going on to hospital.

Canham was thrilled her side was able to cap its brilliant season in style and said, despite being in front when Naden went down, the loss of the Rams conductor really forced the Goannas into action.

"We lost our five-eighth at the end so we rallied and did it for her," she said.

"Everyone has slotted in and helped each other all year and that's what's made it so special ... it's a great feeling."

Canham was part of the WWRL's inaugural year in 2018 but played that season with Castlereagh League. 

The 24-year-old has moved from Coonamble to Dubbo this year and joined the Goannas fold but never dreamed of such a successful campaign. She was later named player of the year, as well.

"It could have gone to any of our girls. We gelled so well," she added.

Before she was given her marching orders, Darcy was one of the Goannas best and opening the scoring for the hosts after 10 minutes.

Panorama hit back moments later when Bec Ford showed great slight of hand to put Hollie Kemp over for her side's first try of the decider but the conversion from out-wide fell short, leaving the scores locked at 4-all.

From then on it was basically all Goannas.

Todhunter sliced through on the 18-minute mark for a stunning 70-metre solo try while Kiara Singh also scored to take the margin out to 10 at the break.

Darcy completed her hat-trick with tries in the 35^th and 45^th minutes but was then sent off along side Panorama gun Godden with 10 minutes to go.

Down to 12 and already battling through the heat at Wellington without any reserves, the wheels fell of the Platypi a touch late enabling Canham to cap a fine outing in the big dance with two late tries.

Panorama skipper Zarlia Griffiths was immensely proud of her team but they were always out-gunned with just 13 players on the paddock.

The 19-year-old Western Rams representative enjoyed the 2019 season and says more teams next season will help the premiership build.

"They were strong," she said highlighting the dominance of the eventual premiers.

"They had a big pool to pick from, basically all of Group 11 and we were a bit smaller with Bathurst, Blayney and Lithgow."
