The Nyngan Amateur Swimming Club held its annual carnival on Sunday, December 8 attracting competitors from across the western region.

There were 133 swimmers nominated to attend.
This year there were competitors from Lake Cargelligo, Cobar, Bourke, Dubbo City Swimtech, Orana Aquatic, Dubbo RSL, Warren, Macquarie Yabbies, Bourke, Coonamble, Wellington and Kinross.
For many of our club swimmers it was their first carnival.
It was great to see so many entering and swimming personal best times on the day.
There were 44 records broken on the day.
Bianca Fuller from Dubbo City Swimtech broke the record in every event she entered.

The club holds club nights on Fridays for swimmers from age 4 and up. Club members are also able to join the club squad program.
