"Seniors provide invaluable skills and help our community thrive in so many ways," Mr Butler said.
"This year in Barwon as part of the state wide Seniors Festival we'll be recognising our senior volunteers - those selfless individuals who donate their time, energy and efforts to volunteering in our communities.
"Whether they volunteer their time to an organisation, knit clothes for premature babies or drive the local footy team bus - they deserve to be recognised for their contribution to our communities."
Nominees will be celebrated at morning teas in Narrabri, Cobar and Broken Hill in the coming months as part of the NSW Seniors Festival.
Nominations are now open and close on Wednesday 12 February.
Nomination forms can be picked up from Roy's offices in Cobar, Broken Hill and Narrabri or downloaded from Mr Butler's website.
