Outback Arts visited on January 20 delivering a circus hoop making and performance workshop for school-aged children.
The tour visited seven locations also including Walgett, Coonamble, Warren, Cobar, Bourke and Brewarrina.
Hosted by founding owner and lead instructor of Hoop Empire in Sydney Bunny Star, children not only designed and created their own hoops, they were taught some hula hoop moves.
Outback Arts said they wanted to deliver the workshop to foster new creative skills of performance and design in young people.

They said not only was the workshop a fun activity, it also introduced many school aged children to a new avenue of creative performance, with skills and equipment that can continue to be used long after the workshop is over.
The participants took home their hoops and will be able to continue to work on their skills long after the workshop is done.
A parent from Cobar said her child had "an absolute ball" and thanked Orana Arts for hosting the tour, especially during such a drought-stricken time.
"The instructor is so talented and creative, not to mention patient. I'm so glad we went, and I can't thank you enough," she said.
