A Nyngan man faces deportation after he was arrested for stealing from a local business.

On January 8, Nyngan Police arrested a 34-year-old male for being in possession of property suspected to be stolen from a local business.
Further police enquiries revealed that the man was a foreign national who had overstayed his visa.
Immigration officials were notified and have since taken custody of the male.
He now faces deportation proceedings.
