The council members meet quarterly throughout the region with NetWaste staff to discuss key waste management issues, project outcomes, contract matters, funding opportunities and perhaps most importantly, to network and learn from each other.
NetWaste is a voluntary regional waste organisation that coordinates the provision of waste services and community education for its member councils.

"The NetWaste members include staff from the director level right through to waste operators, with many representatives having waste as just one of their core responsibilities", Meeting Chair, Peter Cotterill said.
"Waste management is evolving quickly for local government, with the opportunity to hear what each other is doing in their own council areas and to discuss issues around the table at the operational level being invaluable."
Councils across the NetWaste region take it in turns hosting the forums, with Bogan Shire hosting the upcoming meeting on Friday, May 31 at the Nyngan rugby club house at Larkin Oval.
