On Thursday, January 16 the group also had a surprise visit from mayor Ray Donald, who supported the initiative and joined them in a photo opportunity.
In NSW one in seven women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, a mammogram can pick up cancers that cannot be seen or felt.
For women over 50 years, a mammogram is the most effective method of finding breast cancer early.
The BreastScreen Mobile van will be in Nyngan until January 30 at the museum.
